About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expert-level markup, interpretation, and guidance of complex utility engineering records, as-builts, and historical plan sets.
Conduct rigorous QA/QC on digitized deliverables to ensure absolute accuracy before they reach the CivilGrid platform.
Manage and lead delivery-focused teams (Customer Success, GIS, Utilities Research, etc.) to complete utilities research projects.
Mentor junior employees by sharing your deep industry and technical knowledge, and coach them through completing complex projects.
Design and implement QAQC frameworks and data validation pipelines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in civil design, subsurface utilities engineering, and utilities mapping.
You love taking complex, unstructured problems and creating order out of them.
You have a working understanding and user competency in GIS, CAD, and other industry data and design tools.
You’re proficient with project management software (we use Linear).
You have a "sweep the floors" mentality.
