About the role

  • Own and drive digitization workflows end-to-end, setting priorities, managing timelines, and holding stakeholders accountable.
  • Serve as a technical authority on utility engineering records and as-builts, providing expert markup, interpretation, and guidance to junior team members.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards for digitized deliverables.
  • Lead subcontractor and internal team coordination, with a focus on building repeatable, scalable processes.
  • Partner directly with Data and Customer Success leadership to identify process gaps and implement operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in project management within subsurface utility engineering (SUE)
  • Preferred: Background as a field technician and/or utilities research coordinator
  • Deep proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong ability to interpret and QA civil engineering plans, record drawings, and as-builts
  • Experienced with GIS and/or CAD software (ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation)
  • A systems thinker who proactively identifies inefficiencies and builds toward scale
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and effective working remotely across distributed teams
