About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish a scalable shared service model for Finance in India
- Lead knowledge transfer, migration, and change adoption
- Ensure accurate billing, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Maintain audit-ready evidence and escalate risks
- Support the transformation roadmap and system integration
- Define service measures, SLAs, and performance standards
- Coach and develop a high-performing finance operations culture
- Lead the ongoing development of shared service-style Finance operations in India
- Provide operational leadership through a significant finance transition
- Ensure stable, accurate, and well-controlled day-to-day finance operations
- Create scalable, standardized processes improving service quality, efficiency, resilience, and financial control
- Modernize Finance Operations using technology, automation, and AI-enabled opportunities
- Support integration and optimization of NetSuite
- Embed consistent operating rhythms and partner with leaders across the team to enable finance transformation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record leading finance operations, shared services, transformation, or transition activity in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Solid understanding of transactional finance, month-end requirements, reconciliations, intercompany, master data, working capital, financial controls, and accurate, timely, compliant processing
- Experience designing, transitioning, and embedding shared service ways of working, including process migration, service management, controls, KPIs, and SLAs
- Experience leading through ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, and managing operational and cultural change
- Strong understanding of finance systems and process enablement, with experience in ERP environments
- NetSuite experience or implementation exposure highly advantageous
- Ability to identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve finance processes using technology, AI-enabled tools, data, and analytics
- Strong appreciation of financial control, compliance, risk management, and process discipline
- Ability to build capability, set clear expectations, coach teams, and create a high-performance culture across direct and matrix teams
- Credible communicator able to translate operational change into business value and build trusted relationships across Finance, Technology, and the wider business
