About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial, technology, licensing and framework agreements.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including licensing, trademarks and brand protection.
- Support data protection, compliance and incident management across the business.
- Partner with stakeholders across the UK, Australia and India to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.
- Contribute to business-critical projects, including technology transformation, procurement, corporate governance and M&A activity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1-4 years' PQE.
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, ideally gained within a technology-focused or commercial practice.
- Exposure to intellectual property and data protection matters, with experience advising on licensing arrangements highly desirable.
- Training gained within a leading City, national or international law firm; in-house experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
- Confident communicator who can translate complex legal issues into clear, pragmatic advice for a range of stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys working collaboratively across the business.
