Why you'll love this opportunity as Senior People (HR) Advisor at Civica For People Operations, our purpose is to build a robust and scalable foundation of processes and policies that maximise our return on people investment. This involves establishing a single source of truth for all employee data, ensuring the seamless delivery of core operational activities including onboarding and offboarding, pay reviews, and performance management and maintaining up-to-date people systems. The Senior People Advisor will be responsible for managing various human resources functions, including onboarding new hires, employee relations, benefits, payroll support and employee administration. What you will do to be successful in this role Subject matter expert in developing internal policy, local legal knowledge and Civica policy Management of all ER cases through to conclusion Manage and lead investigations where necessary Oversee employee benefits programmes, pay review and job architecture Update and implement HR policies to align with legal legislations and our global approach Work alongside global People Operations team to ensure the accurate delivery of HR administration.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing a variety of ER cases Experience of working in volume based environments and be able to plan workload accordingly Experience in managing global benefits platforms and vendors Always learning - up to date on people strategies, industry/competitor activities and market environments, and employment law Canadian law is desirable but not essential Customer focused experience and mindset Experience of managing projects and supporting organisational change
