About the role
- Responsible for quality control of general business operations and increasing client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and in-house labor.
- Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain and gain business.
- Communicate daily with Facility Services Manager; provide nightly recap via email or phone.
- Recommend IC work assignments; manage to client standards and company guidelines; discharge ICs if not meeting service level agreement.
- Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, and VIP treatment needs.
- Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures and proper use of approved cleaning tools and equipment.
- Work independently and with others across facility types; exercise judgment reporting client concerns to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
- 3 years of prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations.
- Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus!
- Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Physical demands: constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
