About the role

  • Contribute analytical expertise to projects in energy, digital strategy, and carbon accounting
  • Conduct robust modelling, data analysis, and research to support decarbonisation strategies
  • Prepare clear and compelling reports, technical outputs, and presentations for clients
  • Collaborate with internal specialists across transport, energy, digital and systems modelling
  • Support delivery of consultancy projects to time, quality and budget
  • Respond flexibly to evolving project needs across the wider consultancy team

Requirements

  • A PhD in Physics or a closely related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Environmental/Climate Sciences, or similar analytical fields)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex systems
  • A genuine interest in decarbonisation, net zero, and sustainable transformation
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs at pace
  • Experience working in a consultancy environment or in roles involving technical analysis for sustainability, energy, digital, or carbon-related topics (desirable)
  • Familiarity with modelling tools, digital innovation, or carbon accounting frameworks (desirable)
