About the role

  • Support the Division’s capital works program by leading the delivery of major projects
  • Provide project management, stakeholder management, and engineering expertise
  • Engage engineering consultants by preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Manage large scale infrastructure projects from initiation to warranty completion
  • Ensure compliance within guidelines and act as a signing authority

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience in project management and applying engineering principles
  • A valid Province of Ontario Class "G" Driver's License
  • Knowledge of legislation related to various Ontario Acts
  • Registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or licensing as a Professional Engineer in good standing in another Canadian province or jurisdiction.
