About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Requires intensive case management for our highest risk youth
- Conducting screening and risk tools, investigations for the Court
- Completing intakes at the request of law enforcement
- Facilitating groups, utilizing the science of brain development as a foundation for the work with youth
- Skill training, high-level engagement with families, school, & service providers
- Service matching that aligns with the key life areas
- Monitoring court conditions and doing transition planning
- Regular travel is required to support operations across both Fremont and Blair offices
- Occasional on-call, evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in social services, Criminal Justice or directly related field
- 2 years of experience in case management in related fields
- Preferred Experience: Experience working with youth or families—through tutoring, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, or similar roles—is preferred.
- Experience with Probation, DHHS, NDCS, or related systems, as well as skills in interviewing, investigation, or case management, are also desirable.
- Knowledge: Customer service principles, Criminal Justice system, laws, legal codes, and court procedures, Interview and Assessment procedures and practices, Intervention policies and procedures, Cognitive skill building, motivational learning, Social learning theory, Crisis intervention techniques, Modern office procedures and equipment, Recordkeeping principles, Document review techniques, Computers and related software applications.
