About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead strategic revenue cycle initiatives from discovery through implementation
Conduct operational assessments and root cause analyses using KPIs, dashboards, and workflow evaluations
Collaborate with operational leaders and stakeholders to align enterprise revenue cycle strategy with departmental objectives
Design and implement change management, training, and remediation plans
Monitor project milestones, financial outcomes, and ROI and provide recommendations to leadership
Develop and present executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations
Support audit readiness, compliance activities, technology adoption, and revenue cycle optimization
Recruit, hire, coach, and develop team members
Lead cross-functional project teams and influence organizational change across departments
Ensure achievement of team goals while maintaining partnerships throughout City of Hope

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education
5+ years of revenue cycle, healthcare operations, or healthcare consulting experience
2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
Expertise in revenue cycle operations, process improvement, and performance optimization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and organizational levels
Experience with Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
Working knowledge of EHR systems
Master’s degree and certifications such as CRCR, CHFP, CPA, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP preferred
Epic experience preferred
