About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage programs and processes for performance improvement
- Lead the development of a continuous improvement program
- Conduct process audits for performance improvement opportunities
- Establish justification for Continuous Improvement efforts
- Lead the implementation of a Quality Management framework
- Accountable for planning and leading Corporate Asset Management initiatives
- Support the Departmental sustainability program and climate change activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Considerable experience related to the duties listed above
- University Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Sciences, Quality Assurance, Operations Management, or related discipline
- Considerable experience in performance measurement, process engineering, and managing continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid project management and change management skills
- Demonstrated experience leading in an operational environment
- Strong negotiation, facilitation, coaching and performance management skills
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Applications
