Key responsibilities & impact

Lead user support initiatives, problem reporting and resolution, process and business rule management, and system documentation
Collaborate with IT on resource capacity, system maintenance, and divisional project implementations
Establish a strategic vision for the business systems technology platform
Research business technology innovation trends and recommend future directions and technical vision
Develop relationships with internal business partners and stay current on business technology techniques, products, services, and trends
Design and implement enhancement strategies for the business technology platform
Implement cost-effective and sustainable solutions
Manage enhancement activities, guide business owners, and liaise with platform resources
Manage version releases and maintain current platform knowledge
Communicate with end users through video, email, group sessions, and one-on-one interactions to address requests, resolve issues, and explain functionality
Educate business owners on platform advantages and applications
Own technical design documents for complex integrations and participate in product configuration and customization
Partner with Business Owners, Transformation Management Officers, and IT to provide progress updates to senior leadership
Complete miscellaneous tasks and assigned projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-4 years of Salesforce administration experience
In-depth knowledge of standard Salesforce capabilities
Experience expanding Salesforce capabilities using custom code, including Apex and s-controls, and/or integrating external systems
Strong reporting background using standard Salesforce reporting tools
Previous re-engineering experience updating Salesforce configurations for reporting, workflows, and enhanced functions
Detail-oriented and self-starter
Strong written, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven ability to use Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard office applications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
