About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, redline, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, and order forms on both Citrine and customer paper
- Serve as the primary contract point of contact for the go-to-market team
- Build and maintain a contract playbook documenting standard and fallback positions by clause type
- Identify and flag non-standard terms and recommend acceptance, negotiation, or escalation
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract language and commercial norms
- Support evaluation of contract lifecycle management and AI-assisted review tooling
- Work closely with operations and business leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of contract management experience, ideally in-house at a SaaS or technology company
- Strong working knowledge of MSAs, NDAs, SaaS licensing, and order forms
- Ability to negotiate standard commercial agreements independently
- Ability to make sound risk-based judgments
- Experience developing contract playbooks, clause libraries, or standard position guides
- Clear communication and ability to explain legal concepts and redline rationale to business stakeholders
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously with a remote team
- Nice-to-have: experience in enterprise B2B software, life sciences, or chemicals/materials industries
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with Ironclad, SpotDraft, Docusign CLM, or similar contract lifecycle management tools
- Nice-to-have: experience with AI-assisted contract review tools
- Nice-to-have: prior fractional or multi-client consulting experience
- Eastern Time preferred
