About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, redline, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, and order forms on both Citrine and customer paper
  • Serve as the primary contract point of contact for the go-to-market team
  • Build and maintain a contract playbook documenting standard and fallback positions by clause type
  • Identify and flag non-standard terms and recommend acceptance, negotiation, or escalation
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract language and commercial norms
  • Support evaluation of contract lifecycle management and AI-assisted review tooling
  • Work closely with operations and business leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of contract management experience, ideally in-house at a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong working knowledge of MSAs, NDAs, SaaS licensing, and order forms
  • Ability to negotiate standard commercial agreements independently
  • Ability to make sound risk-based judgments
  • Experience developing contract playbooks, clause libraries, or standard position guides
  • Clear communication and ability to explain legal concepts and redline rationale to business stakeholders
  • Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously with a remote team
  • Nice-to-have: experience in enterprise B2B software, life sciences, or chemicals/materials industries
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with Ironclad, SpotDraft, Docusign CLM, or similar contract lifecycle management tools
  • Nice-to-have: experience with AI-assisted contract review tools
  • Nice-to-have: prior fractional or multi-client consulting experience
  • Eastern Time preferred
