About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, build and deepen relationships with affluent and High Net Worth clients to gain incremental wallet share
  • Anticipate complex client financial needs and offer solutions across products, services and tools
  • Provide holistic banking, credit and investment solutions with support from product specialists
  • Deliver regular value-added client engagement, including face-to-face meetings, consistent communication and seminars
  • Develop referral opportunities to grow the portfolio
  • Source, acquire and expand high-value customer relationships
  • Refer opportunities to lending, financial advisor, small business and relationship management partners
  • Organize client events to enhance client bonding
  • Acquire new clients by converting referral leads
  • Manage client follow-up and comply with regulatory and compliance procedures
  • Ensure KYC/AML and other compliance requirements are followed
  • Partner with branch team roles to ensure positive in-branch client experiences
  • Assess risk and safeguard the firm's reputation, clients and assets while escalating and reporting control issues transparently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select or similar financial planning software preferred
  • Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred
  • Self-starter, problem solver and goal-oriented team player able to work without direction
  • Current US FINRA registrations: SIE, Series 6, 63 and 65, or Series 7 and 66, or equivalent
  • Must meet all US FINRA registration requirements within 150 days of starting
  • Life insurance license required; must meet the requirement within 150 days of starting
  • Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and obtain a unique identifier before referring mortgage clients
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
