About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Originate, manage, and grow new, multi-product and multi-country client relationships.
- Own, respond to, uncover and anticipate future needs, roadblocks, risks and expectations
- Manage a growing team in delivering the Bank to the clients while developing their skills and capabilities
- Drive innovation on the solutions we provide clients through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts, while structuring deals that balance risk and reward.
- Be the Best for our clients by understanding and delivering on clients’ holistic operational, risk management, financing and strategic agenda.
- Be responsible for Client-level planning, budget and revenue responsibilities.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
- Execution of strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels, including global coordination with other regions and working closely with other areas of Citi’s Banking Group
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of commercial/corporate banking experience
- Active FINRA Licensing, 79, 63 and SIE or ability to obtain once onboard
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of commercial/corporate banking products including cash management, derivatives, syndicated and bilateral loans, capital markets issuances, trade, etc.
- Significant experience with credit decision making authority, with experience in complex capital structures and cross border transactions
- Multi-year experience pitching and executing capital markets solutions, including joint calling with investment bankers as well as independently is desired
- Must have a sharp business development focus.
- Demonstrate innovative and forward-looking approach to new opportunities and a proactive approach in looking for ways to develop new and strengthen existing business relationships with clients, delivers a frictionless client experience
- Advanced level credit skills with the expectation to achieving necessary qualifications and experience to be appointed to Senior Credit Officer
- Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree preferred
