Senior Analyst – AVP Loan Documentation and Processing
CitiLoan Documentation and Processing Senior Analyst at Citi responsible for managing loan documentation and closing processes. Providing support, improving procedures, and leading team efforts in a hybrid role.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- manage preparing and reviewing loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process
- independently processing and closing loans within a complex loans operation environment
- apply in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area to resolve issues related to loan documentation processes
- escalate control gaps and issues to senior management
- identify loan related control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses
- directly impact the area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and formulation of procedures/process improvement
- provides value-added perspective or advice that contributes to the development of new techniques and the improvement of the loan documentation processes for the area
- assume informal/formal leadership role within the team, is involved in the coaching and training of new recruits
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience
- Adequate understanding of Loan Processes and Procedures
- Advanced knowledge of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
- Moderate knowledge of accounting principles and accounting practices
- Extensive knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process
- Reasonable knowledge of Loan Products and Loan Services
- Comprehensive expertise of managing, preparing and reviewing loan documentation
- Extensive comprehension of Financial Products, such as Cash Management, Treasury, the Trade Lifecycle
- Comprehensive knowledge of compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and adhering to Policies
- Reasonable expertise of using evaluative and ethical judgment to make decisions
- Ability to view multiple perspectives, prioritize, adapt and multi-task
- Ability to analyze and think critically and conceptually and interpretively to solve problems
