About the role
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web application using Angular framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product manager, business analysts, backend developers and QA to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
- Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
- Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues
- Operate with limited supervision and act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members
Requirements
- 7+ years development experience with Web User Interfaces, Angular, Typescript, Javascript, Html, bootstrap and CSS
- Experience with development using web api calls, common authentication mechanisms, asynchronous calls, Observables and RxJs
- Ability to work with API teams and usage of tools like Postman to troubleshoot and debug api calls
- Developing Unit test scripts and automated tests using Jasmine and Karma
- Experience using Git for Version Control, Code maintenance and Jenkins for builds and deployments
- Strong understanding of API development using Java and Spring Boot for Restful APIs and API Integration
- Experience with Docker and Container technology
- Familiarity with Docker scripts and deployment in OpenShift environment
- Experience with SQL and SQL databases especially Oracle
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
