About the role
- Reporting to the Middle Office Accounting Manager and responsible for Middle Office accounting and valuations activity, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies and timely completion of accurate Net Asset Valuations.
- Process securities transactions and provide analytic input for traders; aid in review of derivative products.
- Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues; escalate transaction processing issues and collaborate on solutions.
- Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements and aid in control activities.
- Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk; make process improvement recommendations to leadership.
- Design and analyze moderately complex reports and contribute to the launch of product services.
- Assist with control activities, ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies, and appropriately assess risk and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business studies/technology or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in Middle Office accounting with proven Middle Office accounting skills
- Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of macros
- Ability to ensure deliverables within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
