About the role
- Intermediate role performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team
- Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge and execute direct audit activities for Markets Technology (Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX) and Operations Technology
- Oversee execution of testing as part of Technology and integrated audits of varying complexity
- Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes and budgeted costs
- Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks
- Contribute to the development of audit process improvements, including development of automated routines to focus audit testing
- Draft audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross functional solutions
- Recommend appropriate and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues
- Apply understanding of internal audit standards, policies, and local regulations to provide timely audit assurance
- Develop internal audit staff and share knowledge with team members
- Assess risk when business decisions are made and supervise activity of others
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Audit
- Experience in financial services or technology audit (preferred)
- Technology audit certification (e.g. CISA) preferred
- Specific subject matter expertise regarding Technology application control disciplines
- Solid business understanding of Markets products (Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX)
- Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills
- Effective project management skills
- Effective influencing and relationship management skills
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
