About the role
- Provides security architectural vision for all IT systems, including those that support Internet applications, ensuring that security architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints
- Develops security architecture, strategy, planning, and problem solving solutions on an enterprise level
- Interfaces across several channels, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining direction for future GCP-related and other projects
- Maintains continuous awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and acts as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative GCP security architecture solutions
- May be accountable for end-to-end results including budgeting, policy formulation and providing future state technology security strategies
- Interfaces with vendors to security assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap based on Citi's security requirements
- Provides thought leadership and contributes to technical direction and strategic decisions pertaining to Citi's Google Cloud usage
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
- Performs other job duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
- 10+ years relevant experience within security domain
- Extensive AWS or Azure experience required
- GCP expertise preferred
- Experience and thorough understanding of security architecture design, data security, security controls, threat modeling, compliance and governance
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Management and prioritization skills
- Ability to develop working relationships
- Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
- Methodical, attention to detail
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience (potentially Master’s degree)
