About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Application Support Analyst is responsible having a good understanding of apps support procedures and concepts
Analyze existing system logic and uses evaluative judgment to make recommendations and implement enhancements or fixes.
Formulates and defines scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry standards; documents requirements.
Partners with appropriate development and production support areas.
Participates in validation and testing activities.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-5 years experience
Basic knowledge or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas.
Familiarity with Abinitio, ETL processes, and tools like Control Center.
Basic knowledge of UNIX/LINUX command-line operations.
Exposure to Big Data concepts, including HIVE, and experience with Java Spark.
Basic understanding of NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB.
Foundational knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
Basic knowledge of AI and prompt engineering, willingness to adapt AI in day-to-day tasks.
Participation in some process improvements.
Previous experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices.
Basic Business knowledge/ understanding of financial markets and products.
Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
Understands of how own sub-function integrates within the function and commercial awareness.
Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and organize workload.
