About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain complex, interactive, and visually appealing dashboards in Tableau to meet business requirements
Manage the Tableau Server environment, including user management, security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Provide training and support to Tableau users
Create and manage data sources in Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
Establish and promote best practices for Tableau development, data visualization, and server governance
Monitor and optimize the performance of Tableau dashboards and server environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience working with Tableau
Proven track record of creating high-impact dashboards as an individual contributor in a major bank
Experience in managing a Tableau environment and supporting a large user community
Mastery of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and preparation
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with various data sources
A strong eye for visual design and a passion for creating beautiful and effective data visualizations
Excellent communication and training skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Master's degree in Computer Science or Statistics is required
Tableau certifications are a strong plus.
