About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

accountability for ensuring best in class core credit risk analysis of applicable portfolio ensuring consistency with industry leading practices and conforms to all internal credit procedures/policies, and all related regulatory expectations
validate financial inputs used to determine credit risk rating of clients across different industries
identify and analyze situations that create risk for Citi, utilizing various resources such as credit reports, score cards, risk systems, and knowledge of the elements of Risk
collaborate with Lead Reviewers across various teams for Business Monitoring and Review activities including:
○ ensuring that the credit rating of the client is accurate and in line with Citi’s policy and practice
○ preparation and maintenance of CRR’s internal system, including milestone tracking and sample documentation
analyze and interpret data to make conclusions or recommendations
gather deliverables and/or prepare presentations to meet internal and Regulatory needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of work experience in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar with Credit, Accounting or financial statement analysis
formal credit training or strong understanding of financial accounting standards
experience in assessing the credit and financial strength of Citi’s Large Corporate, Public Sector, and Financial Institutions Clients by performing fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors
intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, Word, Visio, etc. and the ability to learn and use various proprietary in-house systems including web-based programs, AI powered tools and the like
detail oriented with ability to work independently and prioritize workload
