About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and other visualization tools to meet business requirements.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges, translate them into analytical problems, and deliver effective data solutions.
- Mentor junior analysts, provide guidance on best practices, and oversee complex BI and reporting projects from inception to completion.
- Drive initiatives to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities across the organization.
- Support data-driven decision-making processes by providing timely and accurate insights and recommendations.
- Explore and, where appropriate, implement innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI to enhance reporting and data analysis.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of progressive experience primarily within the Business Intelligence and Reporting domain.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and other industry-standard visualization/reporting tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience with complex query writing, performance tuning, and data manipulation.
- Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Python/PySpark for data manipulation, scripting, and advanced analytics is a significant plus.
- Experience or strong interest in leveraging Generative AI in the reporting and analytics space.
- Working experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, including VBA).
