About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and other visualization tools to meet business requirements.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources for reporting and analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges, translate them into analytical problems, and deliver effective data solutions.
Mentor junior analysts, provide guidance on best practices, and oversee complex BI and reporting projects from inception to completion.
Drive initiatives to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities across the organization.
Support data-driven decision-making processes by providing timely and accurate insights and recommendations.
Explore and, where appropriate, implement innovative solutions leveraging Generative AI to enhance reporting and data analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
6+ years of progressive experience primarily within the Business Intelligence and Reporting domain.
Proven expertise in designing and developing dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and other industry-standard visualization/reporting tools.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience with complex query writing, performance tuning, and data manipulation.
Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Python/PySpark for data manipulation, scripting, and advanced analytics is a significant plus.
Experience or strong interest in leveraging Generative AI in the reporting and analytics space.
Working experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, including VBA).
