About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals
Conduct personnel duties including performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions
Implement process improvements and recommend system enhancements
Coordinate staff assignments for optimal effectiveness
Build and maintain relationships with clients
Manage the Risk and Control agenda, including audits
Work closely with senior management on cost-saving opportunities
Supervise activities and create accountability in the team
Provide thought leadership and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of relevant experience
Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CFA/MBA
Experience in accounting within financial services
Strategic management skills
Experience in managing operational delivery
Extensive knowledge of accounting standards IFRS/USGAAP
Hands-on experience in preparation of Financial Statements
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area.
