About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Extensive experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM libraries.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
