About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive success in a fast-paced Escrow environment, serving Citi Wealth clients nationwide
Manage transactions from inception to completion, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk while delivering exceptional service
Structure, negotiate, and execute complex escrow and paying agent agreements, collaborating with internal legal counsel
Partner with Escrow Business Development and Private Bankers to onboard clients, gather necessary documentation, and coordinate deal closings
Engage with internal specialists (foreign exchange, equity) to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs
Oversee account openings, fundings, and closings, ensuring accuracy and resolving deficiencies
Monitor account activity, manage 'tickler' items, and oversee claim submissions
Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolutions
Participate in sales calls and client presentations to promote Escrow Agent services
Adhere to all legal and regulatory policies of Citi Wealth

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 years of experience in escrow agent transactions or settlement funds
Deep understanding of escrow and paying agent transactions and contract negotiation
Solid understanding of escrow and paying agent end to end lifecycle management
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional project management, analytical, and negotiating skills
Excellent interpersonal, client relationship management, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, or other advanced degree is a plus
Ability to travel domestically as required
