Key responsibilities & impact

Drive requirement elicitation and analysis for new projects, working closely with global business users and product development teams to define their needs and asks.
Gather, document, and secure sign-off on comprehensive business, functional, and technical requirement documents to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
Translate business needs into actionable development tasks , providing continuous support and clarification to the development and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Lead the analysis and re-engineering of current business processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Analyze and model complex data , creating clear mock-ups and diagrams to visualize solutions and validate requirements with stakeholders.
Act as the primary liaison between business users and technologists, ensuring information is exchanged in a concise, logical, and understandable way.
Communicate critical updates and coordinate dependencies with representatives from upstream and downstream systems to ensure seamless integration.
Design and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , meticulously validating that solutions meet business needs and presenting the final results for business approval.
Provide ongoing support for existing business operations , answering Business As Usual (BAU) inquiries and assisting with production support to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6-10 years of business analyst experience
Requirements elicitation and documenting (BRD / FRD, JIRA)
User acceptance testing
SQL knowledge for data analysis and presentation
Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookup, macros)
Understanding of financial markets (equities, derivatives, fixed income)
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines
Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
