About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive requirement elicitation and analysis for new projects, working closely with global business users and product development teams to define their needs and asks.
- Gather, document, and secure sign-off on comprehensive business, functional, and technical requirement documents to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Translate business needs into actionable development tasks , providing continuous support and clarification to the development and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead the analysis and re-engineering of current business processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze and model complex data , creating clear mock-ups and diagrams to visualize solutions and validate requirements with stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technologists, ensuring information is exchanged in a concise, logical, and understandable way.
- Communicate critical updates and coordinate dependencies with representatives from upstream and downstream systems to ensure seamless integration.
- Design and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , meticulously validating that solutions meet business needs and presenting the final results for business approval.
- Provide ongoing support for existing business operations , answering Business As Usual (BAU) inquiries and assisting with production support to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6-10 years of business analyst experience
- Requirements elicitation and documenting (BRD / FRD, JIRA)
- User acceptance testing
- SQL knowledge for data analysis and presentation
- Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookup, macros)
- Understanding of financial markets (equities, derivatives, fixed income)
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines
- Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
