About the role
- Actively partner with Relationship Managers to engage existing clients, deepen relationships, and proactively anticipate future cash management needs, challenges, or risks.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities that align with Citi's value proposition.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Relationship Managers and clients, driving innovative cash management solutions.
- Structure deals effectively to balance client objectives with prudent risk and reward considerations.
- Share expertise, market insights, and best practices with sales colleagues and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
- Lead and execute key strategic initiatives within the cash management sales function, driving measurable outcomes.
- Ensure continuous adherence to all regulatory requirements and Citi's internal policies and guidelines.
- Proactively assess and manage risks in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of progressive experience in commercial banking or cash management sales.
- Demonstrated success in growing and developing client relationships within a complex financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of cash management products, services, and market trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
