About the role

  • Responsible for subsidiary relationship management and providing a wide range of treasury and corporate finance solutions, including cash management, trade, FX, derivatives, financing and commodities
  • Help oversee the Japan to North America corridor initiative and appropriate strategy to aggressively grow the NAM Inbound business
  • Partner intimately with product partners in developing innovative solutions to meet specific client needs and hold regular pipeline reviews
  • Drive coverage and calling strategy for Japanese subsidiaries operating in the U.S.
  • Responsible for evaluating public filings, research report, operations, business plans and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analysis
  • Ensure alignment of core strategy against the segment with Banking, Markets, Services, Wealth, as well as Institutional Client Management (“ICM”) and Risk partners to drive growth and client delivery
  • Responsible for meeting revenue goals and other goals related to budget, risk management, and credit allocation in partnership with PAM, GCM and Risk
  • Drive innovation, differentiation, speed to market and promote cross-selling of products across the full Citi platform
  • Responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, “best practices” and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Sound understanding of the Corporate Banking business and its related products
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
