About the role

  • Senior-level role responsible for data governance implementation of Data Domains
  • Identify and document data lineage, critical data elements, authoritative data sources, and data quality rules
  • Investigate data-related issues and contribute to attribute-level data lineage exploration
  • Develop technical solutions and manage complex, high-volume data governance implementation efforts
  • Manage application and critical data element-level lineage across geographies and products for Citi Transaction Services
  • Contribute to strategies/processes to implement Data Domain and Governance policies and register Critical Data Elements
  • Responsible for data quality validation, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
  • Develop communications to guide and influence stakeholders
  • Provide advice and counsel related to technology and operations
  • Mentor new or lower-level analysts as an individual contributor
  • Assess risk and drive compliance with laws, rules, and firm policies

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate/advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with Python, Java, Visual Studio, Ab Initio
  • Experience with Data Lineage capture tools (IBM Manta, Ab Initio mHub) or other development languages
  • Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools
  • Proven diplomatic and analytical skills
  • Proven self-motivation and ability to master new tasks quickly
  • Ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact
  • Working knowledge of project management techniques/methods
  • Experience in systems analysis helpful
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
