About the role

  • Seeking a highly skilled Grafana Stack DevOps Engineer (AVP) in Tampa to build and maintain the Prime Observability Platform.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the Prime Observability Platform to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Proactively monitor platform health, performance, and availability; implement solutions for stability and resiliency.
  • Define and refine operating standards, processes, and best practices for the observability platform.
  • Collaborate cross-organization to onboard teams, provide technical guidance, and review architectural designs related to observability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) with the Grafana stack, including Grafana, Mimir, Tempo, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Programming language proficiency (5-8 years) with Java, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for monitoring systems.
  • Proven experience within DevOps and observability teams and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience building and deploying Grafana stack images into containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing expectations.
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
