About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and customize solutions using Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flows.
- Build features across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including page layouts, record types, validation rules, automation, queues, assignment rules, and case workflows.
- Participate in development of integrations using REST APIs, platform events, external services, and middleware.
- Maintain and extend declarative components (Flows, Process Builders migration to Flows, approval processes).
- Work with Product Owners and BAs to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
- Support QA cycles, deployment activities, and defect resolution.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, performance challenges, and integration errors.
- Monitor and improve code quality, scalability, and reusability.
- Stay updated on new Salesforce releases, features, and platform enhancements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong development experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce automation.
- Experience supporting or building features in Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Exposure to integrations, API-based communication, or middleware tools preferred.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, governor limits, and performance considerations.
- Proficiency in writing scalable, testable code and using version control tools (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (highly preferred)
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder.
