About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

producing high-quality NAV Packages
develop strong technical and interpersonal skills to coach on-shore and off-shore teams
providing technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients and internally
coordinating with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations group
managing and monitoring external audit process
reviewing fund partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials
leading the Implementation of fund structures on accounting system
coaching, developing and training staff
completing ad hoc reports as needed
reviewing trading and operations processes for the Company’s real assets division
completing other functions required as part of the business of the Company

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics)
5+ years public/private accounting experience
7+ years real estate and/or private equity experience
Knowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRS
Experience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligations
Knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate Funds
Experience in reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full sets of financial statements, including notes
Knowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accounting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
Knowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.)
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel)
