About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review credit agreements and other loan documentation to ensure proper setup and processing in the loan system
Monitor accurate processing of loan lifecycle activity
Identify and investigate accrual, position, and cash breaks to Loan Servicers and Agents
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and enhance processes
Ensure the client service level agreements are closely monitored and monthly deliverables are met timely, accurately and completely
Maintain standard processes within a robust control environment, with an eye to continually improving or modifying same to support assigned clients
Support/ conduct training of new hires in standard processes including those without experience in loan operations
Assist on management of special projects as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related subject with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in loan administration
Product Knowledge: Syndicated Loans, Bi-lateral Loans, Direct Lending, Whole Loans, Structured Credit, Commercial and Industrial Loans, Middle Market Credit, Real Estate loans, Asset Backed Credit
Focused, accurate and detail oriented
Team-oriented; willingness to support and cross-train on all departmental functions
Strong communication, both oral and in writing
Self-starter, takes initiative
Experienced in effective communication with external and internal customers; has experience interfacing with relationship managers, customers, and other related departments
Experienced in maintaining a controlled environment and adhering to standard operating procedures
Flexible and comfortable adapting to fluid operational requirements and deliverables
Sentry PM a distinct advantage
Experience and understanding of debt instrument P&L a distinct advantage.
