About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will be working in a cross-functional team, using agile methodologies to build and support an AWS cloud native application for the financial services industry.
We are looking for developers with great communication skills and lots of experience with NodeJS and React.
The project is 5 years old and in active development for the foreseeable future.
We have strong test automation in place from unit testing to end to end browser testing.
Most of the work is new development with occasional refactoring and support needed.
AWS experience is desirable and its definitely a differential, but not a requirement and something we can help you develop.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
6+ years of experience with web application development
2+ years of experience with Node.JS / Typescript
1+ years of experience with React / Redux
Experience designing and developing asynchronous processes using queues.
Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring.
Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
