About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct reconciliation of all bank and securities statement activities to internal records.
- Perform initial investigations on unreconciled items and report unsolved cases to Operational teams.
- Perform FATF investigations for AML compliance and conduct quarterly control activities.
- Assist management with SOC1 testing and monthly KPI reporting.
- Manage and control all cases opened, dealing with queries from internal departments and third parties.
- Monitor and control the central group email boxes and assist in generating reports.
- Support training of new team members on different Cash Reconciliation tasks.
- Ensure full operational support and contribution to the team's objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hardworking and trustworthy individual with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to escalate issues effectively to Management.
- IT literate with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
- Working knowledge of SWIFT and banking/reconciliation systems would be an advantage.
