About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide medical leadership for medical affairs strategy
- Develop and execute the medical affairs plan
- Plan and implement Phase IV clinical development programs
- Create IIS strategies and review proposals
- Serve as a medical expert for key internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee budget management, vendor management, timeline development, and resource needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- PharmD, PhD or MD
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in Life Sciences industry preferred
- Advanced degree in sciences or related field with substantial experience in the pharma/biotech industry
- Preferred experience in the therapeutic area including in an in-house Medical Affairs role
- Practical knowledge of FDA regulations/ICH guidelines regarding conduct of clinical studies
- Leadership experience with management responsibilities for cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience
