About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive durable revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans across Federal Civilian accounts in the Capital region
  • Orchestrate account teams and align cross-portfolio solutions to meet complex customer needs and ensure competitive deal packaging
  • Build and sustain relationships with CTOs, CIOs, and other key stakeholders to position Cisco as a long-term strategic partner
  • Lead and coach a team of sales professionals through regular performance feedback and professional development
  • Analyze sales forecasts and market trends to refine tactics
  • Provide aggregated feedback that influences organizational sales planning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience, Master’s degree with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience in technology sales and regional territory management
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth within the technology sector
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, or consultative sales techniques
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a polished, professional demeanor in high-stakes customer environments
