About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive incremental services growth by leading the overall strategy for customer outcomes and recurring revenue business
- Collaborate cross-functionally with account teams and specialists to develop, qualify, and close high-complexity service opportunities
- Manage long-term customer relationships and C-level engagements
- Influence decision criteria and secure Cisco’s competitive advantage
- Use data analysis and customer insights to uncover new opportunities and address customer pain points
- Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts
- Strengthen the partnership between sales and customer success
- Ensure end-to-end service alignment and delivery of expected business outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years in Services, either in Sales or Delivery
- Experience leading service strategies and closing complex sales deals with cycles lasting 6 to 18 months
- Experience closing very large Professional Services deals of $20M+
- Proficiency in data analysis to uncover buying propensity, service availability, and unattached product potential
- Experience with strategic account planning and embedding analytics into customer engagement methodologies
- 5+ years of Sales experience in the Federal or Service Provider segments preferred
- Experience building business cases and ROI justification
- Proven ability to build, sustain, and strongly influence C-level relationships within major customer accounts
- Technical knowledge of service offerings, premium support programs, and point-of-sale attach strategies
- Exceptional collaborative skills for navigating high-engagement, cross-functional environments including product management and architecture teams
- Strong consultative mindset with the ability to anticipate and drive a customer's strategic business outcomes
- Ability to evangelize service solutions across a geographic theatre and shape GTM-wide prospecting strategies
- Skill in identifying institutional “Champions” and navigating complex organizational “Paper Processes” to secure deal closure
- Willingness to travel 25%
