About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and negotiate commercial aspects of the relationship with a Cisco EMS Manufacturing Partner, including business strategies, investments, pricing, costs, performance and legal agreements
Act as a general manager for all engagements and touch points between Cisco and the EMS Partner
Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand tradeoffs, influence business decisions and drive satisfactory resolutions
Partner cross-functionally across regions, functions and product lines to optimize cost and performance across the product portfolio
Manage commercial claims
Participate in annual and quarterly financial planning
Report on performance to plan
Perform risk and opportunity analyses
Provide subject-matter expertise, advice and mentorship to Cisco and the Manufacturing Partner

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing
Strong experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain
Understanding of cost drivers in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with contracts and commercial terms
Ability to collaborate and develop creative solutions to sophisticated problems
Bachelor’s Degree or MBA preferred
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a focus on execution
Experience influencing teams without direct reporting authority
Ability to explain complicated information and efficiently lay out pros and cons of alternatives
Proven project management and conflict resolution skills
