About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own identity and segmentation outcomes across the Catalyst and Meraki switching portfolio
- Define strategy and roadmap for Catalyst and Meraki switches to consume identity from Cisco ISE and Duo
- Enforce group-based segmentation through TrustSec, Security Group Tags, and Meraki Adaptive Policy
- Define security outcomes for non-fabric campus designs, SD-Access, and EVPN fabrics
- Drive discovery and modeling that turns identity, endpoint, and flow data into enforceable switch policy
- Deliver visibility, policy analytics, simulation, and staged enforcement capabilities
- Grow adoption of the identity-to-enforcement path across Cisco networking and security deployments
- Supply policy context for Hybrid Mesh Firewall and detection services
- Land outcomes within the Cisco Secure Network Reference Architecture with ISE, Duo, firewall, detection, and platform teams
- Lead customer discovery, opportunity sizing, requirements, adoption instrumentation, and launch execution
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales
- Use AI tools throughout the product lifecycle to improve research, requirements, and analysis cycles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience building or shipping cybersecurity products, including identity and access management, zero trust, network security, NAC, or firewall products
- Experience with customer discovery, prioritization, roadmap ownership, metrics-driven iteration, and cross-functional execution
- Experience architecting identity and segmentation concepts such as 802.1X, RADIUS, device posture, group-based policy, microsegmentation, and firewall policy models
- Previous experience with enterprise campus networking, including traditional L2/L3 designs and overlay fabrics such as SD-Access or EVPN
- Familiarity with zero trust frameworks such as NIST SP 800-207 and the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model
- Experience defining adoption metrics and telemetry for enterprise software
- Daily use of AI tools in product work
- Clear, concise communication with executives, customers, and field teams
