About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead program management of large-scale, high-risk hardware products from concept to customer release
- Orchestrate hardware and software engineering, product management, and operations teams
- Drive complex problem-solving and implement strategic solutions for program delivery
- Monitor program health, critical-path roadmaps, risk mitigation, and course corrections
- Lead budget preparation, resource allocation, and financial rigor
- Influence partners at all levels and provide executive-level status updates and strategic recommendations
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineering project management staff
- Foster process improvements and implement continuous integration methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience, or master’s degree in engineering with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years
- Experience in technical program management
- Demonstrated experience leading complex hardware programs with moderate to high risk and multifunctional interdependencies
- Experience defining and delivering program plans, schedules, and budgets
- Experience monitoring critical-path activities and resource allocation
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar project management tools
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude to improve program management processes
- Expertise in Design Verification Testing (DVT) processes preferred
- Knowledge of hardware manufacturing environments, production workflows, and supply chain operations preferred
- Strategic background in supply chain operations or procurement preferred
- Current program management certification such as PMP or PgMP preferred
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence outcomes across internal and external partner groups
- Expertise leading multifunctional dependencies in fast-paced engineering environments
- Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and AI-enabled methodologies preferred
