About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a technology solution consultant to the customer and Cisco account team
- Provide technical information and guidance based on Cisco’s product and services portfolio
- Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical function
- Showcase Cisco solutions through customer presentations and technical demonstrations
- Create bills of materials (BoMs)
- Run proof-of-concept activities
- Partner, consult, influence, and design solutions aligned with customer outcomes
- Leverage Cisco technology, services, and support specialists
- Collaborate with the Account Manager on account planning activities
- Educate customers on Cisco differentiation and create demand
- Establish brand preference for Cisco
- Align Cisco product and services capabilities with customers’ business drivers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
- 5+ years of industry-related experience
- Cisco product experience or relevant experience with key competitor offerings in the technology area of emphasis
- CCNP or CCIE preferred
- BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or relevant experience preferred
- Customer intimacy skills
- Pre-sales experience
- Background in Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Collaboration, Security, Automation, and Cloud
