About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex deal cycles for high-segmentation accounts to drive sustainable cross-portfolio growth and account retention
  • Advise C-suite executives with value-added insights and transformative solutions addressing critical business challenges
  • Orchestrate the sales process from prospecting through completion
  • Accurately forecast opportunities in CRM tools
  • Design and execute customer-first account strategies using market trends and competitive analysis
  • Partner with RevOps, finance, and IT teams to refine sales workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Solution Engineers and specialist teams to deliver technical expertise and competitive positioning
  • Influence major purchasing decisions and support customers onsite as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of related sales experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4+ years with a Master’s degree; or 1+ year with a PhD
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles ranging from 3 to 18 months
  • Proven track record managing account portfolios with deal sizes from $50K to $750K+
  • Experience selling switching, wireless, routing, and firewall technologies
  • Proficiency with CRM tools for prospecting, funnel management, and sales forecasting
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-suite executives and senior management
  • Ability to translate complex technical dependencies into customer-facing demonstrations and materials
  • Strong consultative negotiation skills
  • Experience with cross-architecture collaboration
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscapes within the US market
  • Must be located in, willing to travel to, or willing to relocate to the Boston/Rhode Island location to support customers onsite as needed
