About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Cisco’s Sales Team to drive recurring revenue transformation
  • Analyze pipeline, forecast, gross margin, discount, and OPEX metrics to coach the team toward success
  • Support long-range planning and new-year readiness
  • Ensure deal structures and OPEX spending comply with governing policies
  • Safeguard company assets through tight financial controls
  • Collaborate with Sales Management, Business Units, Cisco Capital, Legal, and Revenue Accounting
  • Leverage AI to simplify processes and improve forecasting and day-to-day operational efficiency
  • Report to the Canada Theatre Controller

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be local to Toronto, Canada; Atlanta, Georgia, US; or Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, US
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience across multiple finance disciplines
  • Prior experience analyzing SaaS metrics and Sales Pipeline (MEDDPICC)
  • Expert knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and Excel modeling
  • Expert knowledge of managing financial risk and expenses
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team of professionals
  • Proven record of building strong partnerships and driving results
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, clear insights
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome adversity and embrace change
