About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the vision and roadmap for Tetragon-based products and runtime security capabilities
- Act as the primary voice of the customer within Isovalent
- Engage directly with users to understand challenges and translate them into product requirements
- Collaborate with eBPF engineers to evolve Kubernetes-native infrastructure security
- Provide sales teams with tools, demonstrations, and technical validation
- Partner with marketing on technical blog posts, white papers, videos, and interactive labs
- Support Customer Success teams in driving user adoption
- Represent Isovalent at industry conferences and meetups
- Foster the open-source eBPF and Tetragon community
- Define and communicate product vision while securing stakeholder buy-in across engineering, marketing, and sales
- Drive go-to-market strategies and product-led growth initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years, Master’s degree plus 8 years, or PhD plus 5 years of related experience
- Related experience in product management or cybersecurity product development
- Experience in cloud-native security and SecOps workflows, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and offensive security
- Experience building enterprise-grade software for Fortune 500 customers
- Experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through successful launch
- Experience leading product strategy and roadmap development
- Ability to foster collaboration and secure buy-in from engineering, marketing, and sales stakeholders
- Experience with the cloud-native security competitive landscape
- Experience driving go-to-market strategies and product-led growth initiatives
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes and Kubernetes Security
- Strong technical foundation in eBPF, Linux, and kernel concepts
- Experience with SIEM and log collection systems including Splunk, ELK, and Google SecOps
- Experience with IDS/IPS network security tools including Suricata, Zeek, Snort, and OSSEC
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, CIS benchmarks, PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53, and SOC2
- Experience designing backend systems supporting self-service provisioning or friction-free onboarding
- Experience building products for large enterprise customers and hyperscalers
- Experience navigating complex compliance requirements and managing global rollouts
