About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Align renewal operations with go-to-market strategy across sales, finance, and business functions
- Act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Design and improve renewal processes using automation, CRM platforms, and reporting systems
- Build and maintain renewal forecasting models, pipeline visibility tools, risk signals, and performance insight dashboards
- Oversee and optimize tools, systems, and processes for accuracy, scalability, and user adoption
- Develop a deep understanding of policies, processes, systems, and data supporting the Global Retention and Renewals Business
- Maintain and continuously improve renewals forecasting and performance insight tools
- Gather requirements, own solution design, and partner with developers to deliver products meeting expectations and timelines
- Guide teams through user acceptance testing of new tools and analytics
- Coordinate operational deliverables across portfolios and align them with business calendars
- Analyze sales and renewals trends, retention performance, and risk
- Identify root causes of performance gaps using data-backed insights
- Build working relationships across sales, finance, operations, and technical teams
- Drive consistency and reliability and build trust in renewals data and tools
- Apply foundational understanding of Cisco’s go-to-market strategy to contribute to team direction
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, data modelling, master data management, and requirements gathering
- Data analysis skills, including identifying data quality issues and correlating them with data policies, processes, and systems
- Current hands-on knowledge of data management and analytics solutions, such as Tableau or similar, BI tools, scripting, SQL, Snowflake, and Excel
- Familiarity with Enterprise Sales Infrastructure, such as Salesforce CRM
- Solid understanding of SaaS and/or Enterprise Sales business models
- Understanding of customer lifecycle measures and financials associated with a technology/software-driven business
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships and work with stakeholders with competing priorities
- Ability to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities
- Ability to navigate all organizational levels and interact effectively and confidently with audiences of varying skill sets and authority
