About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to translate requirements into functional, user-friendly experiences
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs for efficient data flow and secure communication
  • Implement and maintain reusable UI components aligned with Cisco’s Design Systems
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
  • Optimize performance and scalability across browsers and devices
  • Collaborate in an agile environment and deliver incremental value through iterative development cycles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience
  • TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular
  • Experience debugging and troubleshooting front-end issues
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures
  • Experience with UI design systems and component-based architectures
  • Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
  • Preferred: experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and working with DevOps teams
  • Preferred: familiarity with GraphQL
  • Preferred: experience with Jest or Vitest
  • Preferred: exposure to Docker or other containerized development environments
  • Preferred: basic knowledge of backend integration or full-stack development, such as Node.js or Python
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
