About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Global Specialists Organization executive communications
- Support the Splunk CRO in translating the value of Splunk to various Cisco stakeholders
- Drive GTM alignment across Cisco & Splunk global sales and specialist teams
- Craft compelling narratives, mobilize success stories, and prepare executives for internal meetings
- Major speaking events such as Cisco Live, GSX and .conf
- Market the power and potential of Splunk’s GTM strategy to Cisco’s sellers, SEs, and architecture teams
- Oversee internal communications to ensure GSO team members feel motivated, aligned and empowered
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of communications experience with at least 3 years directly supporting a senior executive
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field
- Experience creating presentations for large customer facing events
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with a passion for storytelling
- Ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into compelling narratives
